The last conversation left a question hanging, one that takes us further back than Paul, Leviticus, or the modern debate. What if we have been asking about sexuality before asking the question underneath it all? This time, we are going back to the beginning.

What if the Bible is clearer about some parts of this conversation, and far less specific about others? Before we talk about culture, politics, or the Church’s response to LGBTQ people, we need to go back to the texts themselves. What we find may challenge assumptions on both sides.
